Perfect for collectors, auto enthusiasts, history buffs, shop owners, and jewelry makers, the cabochons of Great Lakes Lapidary are beautiful, hand made pieces of art recycled from various manufacturing practices.
Each cabochon is pictured showing front and back sides, and shown next to a 1" stone to visually indicate the approximate size of the cabochon.
These cabochons can be sanded, either by hand, or with grinders, to become rings. They can be used with paracord to make keyrings. They can have a lace or loop attached to created a pendant.
Fordite is a by-product of the manufacturing/painting process and can be collected from many places including automobile manufacturers, surfboard paint facilities, and ship maintenance yards. These fordite cabochons were created with Jeep fordite harvested from the Jeep facility in Toledo Ohio.
Unique lapidary materials and custom gift items.
